Application are invited from retired Pilots of Air India Limited and serving/ex-Pilots of other Scheduled Airlines for filling up of 04 posts of Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) on B-777 Aircrafton contractual basis for a period of 5 years. Selected candidates will be posted at Mumbai.

Qualifications:
All eligibility conditions, experience and training requirement as stipulated in CAR and amended
by DGCA from time to time would be applicable.
In case any incumbent is required to undergo training before his services can be utilized as SFI, in
that case incumbent would be required to furnish Joint Fixed Deposit or Bank Guarantee for an
amount equal to the cost of training for a period of his contractual engagement as SFI. The Validity, Renewal of Lapsed Approval, other conditions and the Privileges of SFI will be as per DGCA Requirement.
Process of Selection:
Candidates would be required to appear for personal interview.
Medical Requirements:
Candidate should not have any ailment which may impair his ability to function as SFI.
Remuneration:
Selected candidates will be paid Rs.4,000/- per hour. In case of outstation duty, outstation duty
allowance shall be paid at the rate applicable to Line Commanders. In case, incumbent is required
to travel on duty to any place other than his normal place of duty, he will be eligible for
reimbursement of conveyance expenses, as per existing rules of the Company. Apart from above,
no other allowances/payment shall be made.
